ABOUT ME

IT CAREER

My professional IT career began in late 2021 when I joined Capgemini as a Junior Service Desk Analyst. In the beginning, I supported multiple clients, most of whom were English-speaking, though I also worked with a Polish-speaking client. As the first point of contact for users across the globe—including the USA, South America, Europe, and APAC—I handled inquiries via phone, chat, email, and self-service tickets.

As a member of the 1st line of support, I provided basic troubleshooting through remote connections and managed user accounts using Active Directory and Azure Active Directory. This included tasks like account creation, deletion, and modification. After six months, I was promoted to a regular Service Desk Analyst and transitioned to a dedicated service desk, where I focused on supporting a single client.

In December 2022, I took on the role of Infrastructure Engineer and joined a middleware team supporting a global logistics and supply-chain company. My responsibilities became more technically focused, involving infrastructure supervision, daily checks, and diagnosing issues with application workflows. I regularly used tools like DXC and BOTS to manage and troubleshoot infrastructure problems.

After one year, I transitioned to the Application Team. In this role, I deployed new patches using XL Deploy and monitored client infrastructure through Centreon. I managed client applications hosted on both Windows and Linux servers, utilizing a scheduling tool called Control-M. As part of my responsibilities, I also served as an on-call engineer, ensuring continuous availability of the applications and responding promptly to any critical issues that arose.

RUNNING CAREER

Now, onto something a little more exciting than tech! I've been running for about 6-7 years, starting with casual Sunday jogs, which gradually evolved into competitive racing. Over the years, I've achieved some personal records that I'm particularly proud of: a half-marathon time of 1:14:06 and a 10k personal best of 33:50.

Lately, I've been transitioning into trail and mountain running, which has brought a whole new level of challenge and adventure to my training. If you'd like to follow along on my running journey, I invite you to check out my Facebook running blog or visit my Strava profile for updates and race details.
